Allu Arjun-Ileana starrer new movie directed by Trivikram, shooting was disrupted by Telangana activists on Monday.

The makers were canning some scenes on Brahmanandam and heroine Ileana at a private hospital in Kukatpally Housing Board and they were mobbed by activists who even forced Bhramanandam to shout ‘Jai Telangana’ slogans. However, police later entered and arrested the protesters. The unit later resumed the shooting.

The movie was launched on November 2 at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad and the regular shooting commenced on Monday this week. Amol Rathod is handling the camera and Devi Sri Prasad is the music director.

Allu Arjun-Trivikram's new film Launched

Stylish Star Allu Arjun new movie in the direction of Trivikram Srinivas has been launched today i.e 2nd November at Ramanaidu Studios,Hyd.Director Rajamouli gave a clap for the muhurat shot on Allu Arjun.VV Vinayak switched on the camera while K Raghavendra Rao directed the shot.

Ileana is zeroed for female lead actress in the movie.The regular shooting of yet-to-be titled film will commence from November 14th.N Radhakrishna is producing the film under Harika Hasini creations banner.

Allu Arjun to share screen space with Samantha

Allu Arjun is all set to pair up with the hot and happening actress of the Tollywood. Well, the Tollywood heartthrob is gearing up to team up with Samantha, the actress, who has delivered three hits on a trot.

According to reports, Bommarillu Bhaskar has roped in Samantha to play the female lead in his next film. He approached the actress recently and narrated the story. Reports further claim that the Yee Maaya Chesave actress signed the project without a second thought considering the director's success rate in the Telugu film industry.

Bommarillu Bhaskar directorial movie is reportedly produced by BVSN Prasad on the banner of Sri Venkatestwara Cine Chitra. The filmmaker had directed Allu Arjun before in his superhit movieParugu. However, the proposed project is expected to take off in 2012.

Ileana's still holding Allu Arjun's Honey!

There were reports before that Allu Arjun snubbed Ileana D'Cruz, when the actress demanded a hefty amount to act opposite him in Trivikram Srinivas'Honey. Later, it was claimed that the Goan beauty signed the project after the actress agreed to play the female lead role for reduced amount. However, she has come out and clarified that she has not sealed the deal.

The actress, who is making her Bollywood debut inBarfee opposite Ranbir Kapoor, expressed her shock over the reports, which claimed that Allu Arjun told Trivikram Srinivas to drop her from the film. She adds that the Badrinath actor is a nice person and those reports are baseless. Talking about the film, the Pokkiri actress says that she is in talks with the filmmaker and nothing has been finalized yet.

Meanwhile, Trivikram Srinivas has roped in Kannada actor Sudeep, who is starring in SS Rajamouli'sEega, to play a key character in Honey. The proposed project, which is produced by DVV Danaiah, is expected to take off in December 2011.

Stylish Star Allu Arjun has given his nod for a film to be directed by Trivikram Srinivas and the pre-production works have already begun for the film. Now, Allu Arjun has gone to Australia for a minor surgery for the injury happened during the shoot of Arya2.

Allu Arjun will take complete rest after the surgery and gets back to the sets only after he completely recovers. Sources are at buzz that the makers are planning to take the film onto the sets from the month of December. Ileana or  Samantha is likely to play the female lead role.

DVV Danaiah is producing the film on Universal media banner. Trivikram is planning to wrap the film’s shoot in 4 months time. The film is touted to be a youthful family entertainer.

Bad News for Allu Arjun Fans

Allu Arjun is inarguably the best dancer in business at the moment. Not just in Tollywood, he is the best in South India now. His close competitor Junior NTR hasn't done anything exceptional in the recent past to challenge Bunny's feats in Badrinath and Arya 2. Therefore, Allu Arjun is leading the lot at this point.
If Allu Arjun fans are expecting him to do outperform himself in his next movie, then they are in for disappointment. Why because Allu Arjun won't be doing any movements that strains his body now. He has undergone a shouldersurgery recently and is still recovering from it.Although Allu Arjun didn't say anything about dances in his next film, he hinted that he can't take the risk in the near future by stating that he wants to keep his dream project on hold for some time. Allu Arjun is planning to do a dance based film for so long but said that he will only start that project when he is fully fit. Hence, we can assume that Allu Arjun won't be straining his body too much in his upcoming filmdirected by Trivikram Srinivas. 

Bhaskar-Bunny film from Jan. 12

Allu Arjun, who is currently on a sabbatical, will be directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar from January 2012.  The film will be produced by BVSN Prasad.

Bhaskar has been holding story discussions with Arjun for quite a few months.  They did not want to officially announce the film till they have arrived at a cogent idea.

It seems they have finally embarked on the idea.  Mr. Prasad, who is revelling in the commercial success of Oosaravelli, has been convinced that the story will make a terrific subject.

Bunny to debut in Bolly with Arya-2 remake

It is well-known that Sukumar had signed on the dotted line to direct the Hindi remake of Arya-2 (2009), to be produced by UTV.  The latest news is that Allu Arjun would play the main lead in the version.

Allu Arjun, Mamooty win at South Filmfare Awards

New Delhi: Composer AR Rahman, actor Allu Arjun, Mamooty and singer Shreya Ghosal were the big winners at the 58th Filmfare Award (South) at Hyderabad that brought together the biggest stars from the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada film industries.

Tamil film 'Mynaa', Telugu film 'Vedam', Malayalam film 'Pranchiyettan & The Saint' and Kannada film 'Jackie' won the Best Film award in their respective language categories.

Tollywood superstar Chiranjeevi and Jayasudha, now a politician, received the lifetime achievement awards for their contribution to cinema.

Allu Arjun won the best actor award for for his role in Telugu film 'Vedam', Vikram in Tamil for 'Raavanan', Shivraj Kumar in Kannada for 'Thamassu ' and Mammooty in Malayalam for 'Pranchiyettan and The Saint'.

The Best Male Debut award went to Rana Daggubati Telugu film 'Leader'.
